We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our Commercial Insurance (Financial Lines) team in Brisbane working for David Kerwin . About the team and the work The team has extensive experience in all major lines of insurance, litigation, regulatory investigations and claims against directors and officers, financial institutions and professionals particularly in the financial and construction sectors. You will be working on policy coverage and defence of claims across all major insurance lines, particularly financial lines (including Directors & Officers (D&O) liability, management liability and professional indemnity), property (first and third party) and life insurance. Clients include major Australian and London market insurers, brokers and underwriters as well as multinational and national policy holders / insureds – including SMEs. They also act for businesses and high net worth individuals in commercial disputes. About you You will have 5 years' experience gained in a well-regarded Insurance or commercial litigation practice. Experience in general liability and professional indemnity highly regarded. Willingness to mentor more junior team members. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated negotiation skills. Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
