Sharp & Carter are partnering with a global organisation to recruit 2x Claims Specialists for a 6-month contract based in Brisbane CBD. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical capability across TPD and Income Protection claims. You will step into a live portfolio and manage claims end-to-end with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: Manage an end-to-end portfolio of 40–50 TPD & IP claims Assess and determine claims in line with policy, legislation, and guidelines Review and interpret medical, financial, and employment evidence Liaise with claimants, medical professionals, employers, and stakeholders Deliver accurate, well-reasoned, and compliant claim decisions About You: Proven TPD/IP claims assessment experience (essential) Experience managing a high-volume claims portfolio Strong written communication and decision-making skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Delegated authority in TPD or IP claims highly regarded What’s on Offer $45.00 – $60.00 per hour super 6-month contract with strong likelihood of extension Hybrid working (after initial full-time office training) Brisbane CBD location Opportunity to join a high-performing, fast-paced team Additional Information: Training will be conducted on-site full-time, followed by a hybrid work from home arrangement If you’re an experienced TPD Claims Specialist ready to step into a high-impact contract role, we’d love to hear from you - apply today!
