This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected builder delivering complex, highprofile commercial projects across Australia. We are currently partnering with a major construction contractor seeking a skilled Services Engineer to coordinate and manage the building services components across multiple projects. This role suits someone who thrives in a dynamic project environment, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and is confident leading services coordination from design through to delivery. Your new role As a Services Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of building projects by: Coordinating all building services (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire, comms, lifts, security) and their integration into construction works Managing services design, installation, commissioning, and defects rectification Ensuring projects meet scope, quality, safety, sustainability, programme, and client satisfaction requirements Acting as the link between design, subcontractors, consultants, authorities and project teams Supporting the Project Manager and Services Manager throughout all project phases You may also mentor junior team members such as Cadets or Graduates. Key Responsibilities Coordinate documentation, review technical submissions, and support subcontractor procurement Conduct regular site inspections and resolve services-related issues Lead services subcontractor meetings and manage coordination workshops Review programming for services trades including commissioning and handover activities Monitor subcontractor performance and manage variations and progress claims Maintain production controls such as passive fire checks, precommissioning sheets, and quality documentation Oversee testing, commissioning, building tuning and essential services compliance Liaise with regulatory authorities, consultants, suppliers, certifiers, and clients Ensure OH&S, sustainability, ABGR, and energy efficiency objectives are met What you'll need to succeed You will be a proactive, solutions-focused Services Engineer with strong technical capability and excellent stakeholder management.
