About The Role We are looking for a General Labourer (Operations Technician) to join our Turf team within Parks & Gardens. This role will work in a team that provides a range of planned and reactive maintenance services out of our Botany and Mascot depots. An average day within our Parks & Gardens Turf Team includes (but is not limited to); Mowing and maintaining lawns, performing general maintenance tasks, clearing litter & debris, operating and maintaining equipment & tools. You will learn everything there is to know about the plant and equipment used to do the job safely and expertly. About You You will demonstrate a genuine passion and the resilience required for physical work outdoors. You will be able to work in a team or unsupervised; all the time taking pride and working safely in producing great outcomes for our community. You will be physically fit and have a “can-do” attitude. Essential criteria: General schooling to Year 10 or 12 and/or relevant experience. A SafeWork NSW white card (general construction induction card). Current Driver’s Licence Successful completion of ChemUse Certification within first 3 months.
