About the role This role combines MR truck driving with hands‑on asphalt labouring . You’ll be part of a crew that works together to maintain and repair Parramatta’s roads and civil infrastructure. What you will be doing: Helping install and repair asphalt surfaces across Parramatta — real, hands‑on work where you can see the results of your effort every day. Using a range of hand and power tools to prepare surfaces, including grading, compacting and general site prep. Operating machinery such as rollers, pavers, plate compactors and skid steers (training provided if needed). Loading and unloading materials, tools and equipment from MR trucks and work vehicles. Working as part of a tight‑knit crew , following instructions and completing tasks safely and on time. What’s on offer This is a permanent full-time opportunity: Monday to Friday | 9-Day Fortnight | 6.00am-3.00pm We are offering an attractive weekly salary from $1,261.29 to $1,332.12 plus 12% superannuation. This position will attract allowances in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023, this could include the Adverse Working Conditions Level Allowance.
