About the role This role combines MR manual truck driving with hands‑on concrete labouring . You’ll be part of a crew that works together to maintain and repair Parramatta’s roads and civil infrastructure. What you will be doing Helping place and finish concrete across Parramatta: real, hands‑on work where you can see the results of your effort every day. Using a range of hand and power tools to set up formwork, prepare sites and support the crew with day‑to‑day concrete operations. Operating plant and machinery to carry out concrete placement, compaction and finishing, with training provided if needed. Driving and operating trucks to load and unload materials, tools and equipment for the civil maintenance team. Working as part of a tight‑knit crew, following instructions and completing concrete pours safely, smoothly and on time. Assisting with excavation and general site prep to keep each job running efficiently. What’s on offer This exciting opportunity is a Permanent Full-Time role. Monday-Friday- 38hrs per week. We are offering an attractive weekly rate from $1,261.29 to $1,332.12 plus 12% superannuation. This position will attract allowances in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023, this could include the Adverse Working Conditions Level Allowance. You will also bring: Experience in Civil Works such as concrete placement and finishing Ability to drive MR manual transmission trucks/ vehicles safely Be collaborative with other teams and operational areas to provide assistance when needed.
