With increased investment in the commercial team, specifically, operational and BU support, I now have the privilege of bringing a new opportunity to the market for a Finance Business Partner $140,000 Superannuation Macquarie Park - close to public transport & parking can be provided FMCG business, commercially focused role (Largest Division) Role Profile: Reporting to the Commercial Manager of the LARGEST division, you will be responsible for overseeing commercial operations of a key state, and act as the clear 2IC within the commercial finance team. Specific duties will include: Analysis of operating performance and potential savings using actual, historical data and forecasts Generate budget and financial reporting templates. Work closely with the Commercial Manager to prepare and present budgets. Present WEEKLY and MONTHLY financials to executive members Review site P&L performance and work to find efficiencies. Monitor balance sheet accounts ensuring accuracy. Supporting the commercial team with financial data, inventory analysis and reports concerning production efficiencies and KPIs Monitoring costs for variances and providing variance reports to the relevant business units (purchasing, finance, marketing, etc.) Look to continuously improve all facets of reporting and analysis in commercial operations. Succesful Candidate Profile: CA, CPA or CIMA qualified with relevant commercial experience. You will have held a similar position in the past in a commercially focused finance role You will have worked in an FMCG business with high-volume inventory movements, multiple SKU’s and large data sets You will possess advanced Excel skills (VBA and Macro would be amazing; v-lookups, pivot tables and complex formulas are a minimum). There is a push to move everything across to the BI tool, but some legacy models on Excel remain (for now). You will be able to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders across the business (Corporate, DCs and Production Sites). You will enjoy ‘revamping’ reporting templates and creating new reports to increase efficiencies.
