The Opportunity Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role offers direct access to the CFO and ownership across eight entities, splitting your time between payroll leadership and corporate accounting. Payroll Leadership End-to-end payroll processing, monthly and fortnightly Multi-entity compliance including awards, superannuation and PAYG Primary contact for payroll queries across the business Payroll reconciliations and year-end processing Supporting ongoing award and HR review processes Corporate Accounting Monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations Budget preparation BAS, FBT and statutory compliance Board reporting for retail and parent entities Liaison with external accountants and advisors Supporting ERP transition from Sybiz Vision to MYOB This is a visible role with regular interaction with Directors and senior leadership. About You You are a confident, hands-on finance professional who enjoys ownership and thrives in a stable environment. Must Have Experience End-to-end payroll management in a medium-sized organisation Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, super and PAYG Solid corporate accounting experience including reconciliations and reporting Exposure to multi-entity environments Confidence handling payroll queries and liaising with senior stakeholders CPA or CA is not required. Most importantly, you bring a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and the maturity to step into a long-standing team and build trust quickly.
