The Company We are seeking an experienced Transport Operations Manager to lead and optimise a large scale transport operation based in Western Sydney. Working closely with the State GM, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing a fleet of 80 trucks, and ensuring service delivery meets the highest standards for customers. This role will suit a strong operational leader who can drive structure, improve processes, and lead a diverse workforce while supporting the continued growth of the business. The Role Lead and manage the end to end transport operations, including oversight of a 80 truck fleet. Ensure operational performance consistently meets customer expectations, service levels, and delivery standards. Manage, develop and structure a diverse operations workforce, driving accountability and performance. Provide strategic operational direction to support business growth, new customer onboarding and operational transitions. Recruit, retain and develop high performing teams to support both day to day operations and long term business objectives. Develop and implement best practice operational processes, procedures and policies. Manage budgets and operational forecasts to support financial and growth targets. Oversee transport operational risk, safety and compliance, ensuring strong health & safety standards across the operation. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers. Use strong analytical and commercial judgement to support operational decision making. Your Background Proven leadership experience within transport, logistics or fleet based operations. Strong experience managing large operational teams and fleet environments. Demonstrated ability to improve processes, structure teams and drive operational performance. Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and operational performance. Excellent stakeholder management and customer relationship skills. Strong understanding of transport compliance, safety and operational risk management. What’s on Offer?
