We're looking for an Automation Engineer to design, program, and deliver industrial automation solutions across renewable energy, industrial, and infrastructure projects. This role suits someone who enjoys owning the technical delivery of projects - from design through to commissioning - while working closely with clients and internal engineering teams. You'll work on a mix of project-based and consulting engagements , contributing to cloud‑hosted SCADA systems, control systems, and large‑scale renewable energy assets including battery and solar projects. The Role You'll work across project‑based and consulting engagements, contributing to modern PLC, SCADA, and cloud‑hosted automation environments . Projects include battery energy storage, solar, and industrial infrastructure across Victoria and the East Coast. Key responsibilities: Design and deliver automation and control system solutions Develop and configure PLC, RTU, and SCADA IGNITION systems Produce and maintain electrical/control drawings using AutoCAD Write specifications, documentation, and test procedures Test, commission, and troubleshoot automation systems Support site installations and commissioning activities Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards Provide technical advice and client support About You You're a hands‑on automation engineer who can work independently while collaborating effectively.
