The successful Senior Windows VDI System Administrators will be offered an initial 12-month contract with the view to extended for a further 24 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate. The successful Senior Windows VDI System Administrators will be responsible for, but not limited to: Administer management and support of security software, system integration and configuration. Administer Secured End User Computing (EUC) Environment (Active Directory Management, Group Policy) procedures and standards Design, test, deploy and automate Windows operating system builds Develop and operate a backup and recovery service for virtualised Windows systems The successful Senior Windows VDI System Administrators will have experience in the following: Demonstrated experience or qualifications in Microsoft Server & Desktop technologies (including Exchange, WSUS, MECM, SCCM, AD) Proficient in Microsoft PowerShell scripting Proficient in Building, deploying and managing virtual desktop SOEs Proficient in Advanced Windows troubleshooting This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking Federal Government agency and make a real impact!
