The Investigations Manager- Asia, assigned to one of Pinkerton’s largest global clients, will be responsible for the effective operations and leadership of investigations throughout all Asia sites. The Manager has high visibility with the client and leads process refinement and implementation, cross-team/discipline collaboration, maintenance of internal and external stakeholder relationships, and coordinates training/education on all new or updated policies/procedures. Complete the processes, analysis, and reporting related to a wide variety of investigations including, but not limited to; life safety/threat management (workplace violence, assault, harassment, stalking, domestic violence, and missing personnel), asset protection, misconduct (alleged violations of certain client policies), trespassing, unauthorized access, and vandalism. Produce high quality, timely, and tailored threat assessments for internal stakeholders while managing sensitive or confidential data. Deliver analytical assessments in clear, succinct, and appropriately caveatted products that project credibility, convey recommendations, and reinforce key messages. Collaborate internally with cross functional groups such as legal, HR, and business suppliers/partners to enhance processes, workflows, tools, and system functionality. Conduct business case analysis and both write and use business cases to effectively facilitate planning goals. Develop measurable key performance indicators and deliver status reports, business metrics, and business plans. Formulate training policies, programs, and schedules based on knowledge of identified training needs and coordinate training activities with minimal impact to investigation staff’s duties. Manage intake and assigning of cases through the client tool. Act as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, procedures and systems. Provide guidance for team by ensuring goals and objectives are met. Assist with procedural review, analysis, and development. Provide the client’s Investigations team with requested information/data in support reports. Explore and adopt changing technology in preparation for and to accommodate evolving company needs. Assist the Global Account Director and Senior Account Manager on projects/assignments, as needed. All other duties, as assigned. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required. Alternatively, formal experience in corporate, government, military, or law enforcement investigations, or a combination of formal education and experience in government or corporate protective intelligence and threat assessment programs, will also be considered. Experience leading investigations as well as managing a team within a high risk/liability and rapidly changing environment is required. Industry relevant certifications such as CTM, CPP, PCI, PSP, preferred. Extensive knowledge using quality assurance techniques and strategies to monitor team performance and compliance with contractually set Service Level Agreements. Understanding of training techniques suitable for different learning styles. Knowledge of internet crime investigation processes and use of related databases. Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures. Able to carry out responsibilities with little supervision. Client orientated and results driven.
