An established and highly regarded custom home builder is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join their growing team. Delivering architecturally designed, high-end homes, this business prides itself on quality, detail and strong relationships with clients and consultants. This is an excellent opportunity for an estimator who enjoys working on bespoke projects and being involved from early pricing through to contract execution. The Role Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of costings for custom residential projects. Key responsibilities include: Preparing detailed estimates and cost plans for bespoke residential builds Analysing architectural drawings, specifications and engineering documentation Managing supplier and subcontractor pricing, scopes and tender comparisons Value engineering and cost optimisation without compromising quality Assisting with budgets, feasibility pricing and contract documentation Working closely with designers, project managers and site teams About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: 3 years of proven experience as an estimator within Melbourne's residential construction market Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials and finishes Ability to interpret architectural and consultant documentation High attention to detail and strong commercial awareness Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively Relevant construction qualifications or trade background will be highly regarded.
