The Role: Take ownership of a diverse audit portfolio with a strong NFP and Clubs focus Lead engagements end-to-end, from planning through to completion Act as the primary client contact and trusted advisor Mentor and develop junior team members Contribute to the ongoing growth and direction of the audit division Liaise with clients concerning audit and accounting queries Collate and document audit evidence over material balances and transactions recorded in financial reports Draft annual financial reports Review audit work papers prepared over straightforward areas by junior audit staff About You: CA/CPA qualified with a Commerce or Business degree majoring in Accounting Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Australian public practice audit, ideally within a mid-tier or top-tier firm Strong experience auditing NFPs, ACNC entities and Clubs Confident leading engagements and managing client relationships Strong technical knowledge of Australian auditing and financial reporting standards Proficiency in Caseware (Extend preferred) Understanding of assurance/audit principles, techniques and methods Knowledge of IFRS/Australian Accounting Standards (AASB), Australian Auditing Standards (ASA), and relevant legislation for assurance engagements Exceptional client skills, including the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and proactively manage client expectations and engagements What’s On Offer: Genuine leadership role with autonomy and impact Established, stable firm with strong local reputation High-quality, meaningful client base Supportive and collaborative team culture Convenient Gold Coast office location near shops and public transport Competitive salary package aligned to experience Office close to public transport and shops Step into a senior role where your expertise is recognised, your leadership is valued and your contribution makes a visible difference.
