Job Description Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, assisting in accounts payable and receivable. Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently. Support budgeting and forecasting activities across departments. Assist in auditing processes and liaise with external auditors as required. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations. BAS Lodgements and Tax enquiries. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff, fostering their growth and development. The Successful Applicant A successful Senior Accountant should have: A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Professional certification such as CPA or CA (or working towards it). Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and practices. Proficiency in accounting software (SAP) and advanced Excel skills (V-Lookups & Pivot Tables). Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking abilities. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
