About the role Jord International Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Proposals Manager for a full time position at our St Leonards office. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping JordProxa’s growth across the energy transition, battery chemicals, and minerals processing sectors. This role focuses on leading the development of high-quality technical and commercial proposals that underpin JordProxa’s project pipeline and support the conversion of opportunities into awarded projects. As our Proposals Manager, you will lead the preparation of compelling proposals for crystallisation, evaporation, and process plant solutions across the battery chemicals and recycling industries. You will work closely with Sales, Process Design, Engineering, and Operations teams to deliver clear, technically robust, and commercially competitive submissions that differentiate JordProxa in the market. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on technical problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, commercial strategy, and leading high-impact work that directly contributes to business growth. What you’ll do • Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of high-quality proposals and tender submissions for major process plant opportunities • Work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Process Design teams to develop integrated technical and commercial solutions aligned with customer requirements • Manage multiple proposals concurrently, ensuring scope, timelines, deliverables, and internal approvals are achieved to a high standard • Develop compelling client-focused proposals that clearly articulate JordProxa’s technical capability, value proposition, and competitive advantage • Oversee preparation of cost estimates, bid documentation, technical clarifications, and tender review submissions • Review client specifications and tender documentation to identify technical, commercial, and contractual risks or opportunities • Support customer presentations, clarification meetings, and pre-award discussions to help secure successful project outcomes • Drive continuous improvement across proposal quality, consistency, tools, templates, and turnaround times • Support project handover to Operations teams by ensuring accurate communication of proposal scope, assumptions, and key risks • Collaborate with global teams to capture lessons learned and improve proposal methodologies and estimating practices What you’ll bring • Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering • 10–15 years’ experience delivering major proposals, studies, tenders, or projects within minerals processing, battery chemicals, recycling, or related process industries • Strong understanding of process plant design, project delivery methodologies, and technical proposal development • Proven ability to coordinate complex multi-disciplinary work across engineering, commercial, and operational teams • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align technical solutions to customer and business outcomes • Experience preparing detailed process plant cost estimates and coordinating technical bid submissions • Understanding of conceptual plant layouts, process flowsheets, PFDs, and P&IDs • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills • A proactive, collaborative approach focused on quality, innovation, and continuous improvement Why join Jord?
