Electrical Project Engineer Core Talent are partnering with a growing electrical contractor delivering projects across the commercial and infrastructure sectors in Western Australia. Due to a strong pipeline of secured work, the business is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support the successful planning and delivery of construction projects. This role will work closely with Project Managers and site teams to coordinate engineering activities, manage technical documentation and ensure projects are delivered safely on time and within scope. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate the design phase from tender through to project delivery Review drawings, technical specifications and project documentation Provide engineering and technical support to the project delivery team Verify technical calculations, modelling and engineering concepts Assist with planning and monitoring construction activities on site Support the development of work methods and identify project risks and opportunities Provide technical input into project schedules and milestone planning Assist with estimating and managing project variations Coordinate stakeholders to ensure engineering deliverables are achieved Ensure project documentation, design changes and approvals are properly controlled Support testing, commissioning and project close-out activities Maintain strong safety and quality standards across all project activities The Ideal Candidate 3 years’ experience working as a Project Engineer within construction, building services or electrical infrastructure Proven experience delivering electrical engineering packages on construction projects Experience with design coordination, shop drawings, document control and commissioning processes Strong understanding of Australian Standards and building codes relating to electrical services Proficiency in Microsoft Office including MS Project Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational and time management abilities Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a project team High attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach
