Civil Supervisor - Bulk Earthworks (2:1 FIFO Roster) Location: WA Mining Project Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor - Bulk Earthworks to oversee large-scale earthmoving operations on a major mining infrastructure project in Western Australia. This role operates on a 2:1 FIFO roster and requires a strong leader with proven production, safety, and team management capability. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering bulk earthworks packages safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications and statutory obligations. Key Responsibilities Supervise bulk earthworks including: Cut and fill operations Haul road construction ROM pads and hardstands Drainage and site infrastructure Lead and coordinate operators, labour crews and subcontractors. Manage heavy plant fleets (dozers, graders, excavators, scrapers, dump trucks). Conduct pre-start meetings, toolbox talks and safety inspections. Ensure compliance with WA statutory supervisor obligations (Schedule 26 where required). Monitor production targets and daily outputs. Liaise with project engineers and surveyors to ensure works meet design levels. Complete daily reporting, timesheets and progress tracking. Enforce site safety, quality and environmental standards. Essential Requirements Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor (WA) Minimum 5 years' experience supervising bulk earthworks in mining or major civil projects Strong understanding of: Mass haul and production management Compaction and QA processes GPS/machine control systems Demonstrated leadership in FIFO environments Current Australian Driver's Licence Construction White Card Desirable Qualifications First Aid Certificate Working at Heights / Confined Space Previous Tier 1 mining project experience Strong knowledge of WA mining safety legislation Remuneration Competitive hourly / day rate superannuation Camp accommodation and meals provided Flights covered from Perth Long-term project opportunity Contact Sararuddy@mmfs.com.au
