As our Fundraising Operations Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the success of our fundraising teams by ensuring the systems, tools, and processes behind every fundraising initiative run efficiently. You’ll work within the Marketing Insights and Business Intelligence team to provide operational and technical support, troubleshoot system issues, coordinate with IT and external vendors, and support upgrades, integrations, and enhancements to improve functionality, data quality, and user experience. You’ll also organise workshops, provide process mapping, documentation and training to enable fundraising staff to confidently adopt technology, processes, and reporting tools to drive better fundraising outcomes. A background in marketing or fundraising will be a bonus, helping you quickly understand fundraising workflows and donor engagement activities. Your key responsibilities will be to: Provide day-to-day operational and technical support to fundraising teams, ensuring the smooth execution of fundraising initiatives and donor engagement activities through technology. Troubleshoot system, technical, and process issues, coordinating solutions with IT, internal teams, and external vendors. Gather and document fundraising requirements, develop user stories and acceptance criteria, and work with the IT Product Owner to prioritise items in the development backlog. Support system upgrades, integrations, testing, and enhancements to improve functionality, data quality, and user experience. Organise workshops for system - business process mapping with fundraising staff and conduct training for system users on functionality, data standards, and reporting tools, while developing guides, walkthroughs, and other enablement resources. Maintain the Fundraising Resource Hub and system documentation, while communicating system updates, process improvements, and changes to stakeholders across Fundraising and IT. Requirements for Success Strong, hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms used in fundraising (e.g., Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge, Blackbaud CRM, HubSpot, Eloqua, Marketo). Skilled in system troubleshooting, problem-solving, and operational support to ensure fundraising initiatives and donor activities run smoothly. Understanding of fundraising processes, donor journeys, and data governance within a nonprofit context. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, able to work effectively with fundraising, IT, finance, and cross-functional teams. Experience in creating and delivering training, documentation, and enablement materials to support system adoption and staff capability. Awareness of fundraising compliance, privacy legislation, and data protection, ensuring systems and processes meet regulatory requirements.
