The Role The Senior Manager, Northern Services leads the delivery of Restore Intensive Family Services (North), Kids in Focus (KIF), and Dad’s Business across the Salisbury region. This role provides strategic and operational leadership to multidisciplinary teams supporting families with complex needs. With a strong focus on child safety, trauma-responsive and culturally inclusive service delivery, the Senior Manager ensures highquality outcomes, strengthens team capability, and drives positive change for children, parents, and the wider community. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, supervision, and professional development to ensure highquality, trauma-responsive, culturally safe and childfocused service delivery across Restore, KIF and Dad’s Business. Manage KPIs, contract requirements, service targets, risk, WHS responsibilities and data reporting to ensure programs deliver consistent, highquality outcomes. Lead service planning and improvement initiatives, embed the therapeutic framework, and build strong relationships with DHS and community partners to enhance service impact. Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Essential Social Work degree. Proven experience in promoting and developing teamwork and an effective work environment. Experience in development and implementation of policies and procedures. Demonstrated skills relating to tender writing and grant submissions. Excellent interpersonal, leadership and consultative skills. Experience in leading and managing individuals and teams. Thorough knowledge of the Children and Young People (Safety) Act 2017 and the incoming Act. Experience in working with vulnerable families with complex needs. Experience supporting staff to deliver client services. Valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check. Current Driver’s Licence. Desirable Management experience and qualifications. Sound theoretical knowledge of the impact of childhood trauma and factors. affecting attachment as well as relevant therapeutic interventions. Experience using Athena Penelope electronic case management system. Special Conditions Option to salary sacrifice a company fleet vehicle. Travel between sites is required.
