Modern, tech-enabled bookkeeping firm, supporting professional technical services businesses, are looking for a commercially minded Senior Bookkeeper in a client-facing, ownership-driven role with real responsibility prioritising intelligent systems, clear reporting and proactive communication. Manage a portfolio of 6–10 clients Deliver accurate, end-to-end bookkeeping in Xero-based accounting environments Oversee payroll for businesses with 2–50 staff Manage superannuation, STP reporting and compliance Complete WorkCover annual certifications Maintain clean BAS/GST reporting and liaise with external accountants Monitor job costing and WIP where relevant Provide clear monthly reporting and cash flow insights Improve system workflows and strengthen financial processes Work with integrated project software systems such as: Work Flow Max Total Synergy Project Works You will: Build trusted relationships with business owners Influence financial clarity and decision-making Improve systems rather than inherit inefficiencies Operate autonomously within a supportive, high-performance environment Requirements: 8 years bookkeeping experience Strong Xero capability (certification preferred) Experience with payroll (2–50 employees) Confidence managing multiple clients independently Experience with professional services businesses Comfortable working with project software integrations Commercial mindset and strong communication skills If you are ready to own outcomes then apply for this permanent position with an attractive salary.
