We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join Powertech on Renewable Hydrogen Project. Position Overview: Role: Electrical Commissioning Engineer Start Date: ASAP Roster: 2 week on : 1 week off Rate: $133/hr Super paid on all hours worked on top ($1,396.50/day super) Hours: 10.5 hour days Duration: 8 months Location: Dampier/Karratha, Western Australia POH: Perth, however we can fly from any major capital in Australia with accommodation provided as required Travel: First and Last day of swing, full day 10.5 hours paid for these days. Experience, skills and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Site electrical commissioning experience Pre-commissioning and commissioning document preparation experience LV and HV Switchboard testing including protection relay testing, secondary injection testing and interlock experience Experience with standard electrical equipment including LV/HV rectifiers and transformers, earthing grid testing, etc. BESS knowledge is useful but not mandatory Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering. OR Chartered Professional Engineer - Electrical Engineer. Minimum 10 years’ experience in either onshore or offshore commissioning within the oil & gas industry. Proactive and positive approach to all opportunities, coupled with excellent communication and team working skills.
