Project Leader Listed 03/11/25 Mining Contract or Temp QLD Other Here at Concentis, we are partnering with a tier-1 mining and resources company to source a Project Lead accountable for the delivery of supporting the site on an upcoming renewable energy project in the Capital Growth team. Starting on an initial 12-month contract, this Gladstone based role comes with the opportunity of a 9-day fortnight. Key Responsibilities: Lead the execution of mechanical projects within the capital growth team Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of mechanical systems and infrastructure for the delivery of an upcoming renewable energy project Manage project scope, budget and cost control Coordinate project scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management to maintain progress and mitigate potential issues Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and procurement, to drive efficient project execution Drive continuous improvement initiatives Conduct and promote a range of HSE Compliance procedures with commitment to executing projects safely About You: Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Project Management Demonstrated Project Management experience Brownfield experience highly desirable Strong knowledge of HSE Compliance practices Well-developed cost management, budgeting, and expense report skills Benefits: Work with a tier-1 mining asset owner in Gladstone, one of Queensland’s biggest resource sector hubs 12-month contract with real potential for extension Grow and develop your leadership skills within a supportive environment Supporting a Diverse Workforce We welcome and support all applicants, from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, women, the LGBTI community, mature workers, people with disabilities and impairments, and people from different cultural and religious backgrounds.
