As a key administrative support officer, you will help ensure patients, families and community members receive timely information, coordinated appointments and professional support while assisting clinical teams to deliver high-quality care. About This Role Your new Role: Role This role provides high-quality administrative and frontline support to services within the Inala Indigenous Health Service, ensuring the smooth coordination of appointments, communications and client records. You will support clinical teams and community members by delivering accurate administrative services that contribute to accessible, culturally respectful healthcare. You will: Act as the first point of contact for telephone and in-person enquiries. Manage appointment bookings, message handling and client enquiries. Provide information and referrals about health services across Metro South Health. Coordinate incoming and outgoing correspondence including mail and facsimiles Support Medicare and WorkCover billing processes with accuracy and attention to detail. Provide administrative support including document preparation, minutes and diary management. Manage the receipt, documentation and storage of incoming goods. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to quality improvement activities. About You You are an organised and professional administrator who enjoys supporting healthcare teams and helping people access the services they need. You bring strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment. You will have: Experience in or ability to quickly learn office administration procedures. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional approach to client service. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines. Experience with or ability to learn healthcare information systems and Microsoft Office applications. Commitment to respectful, inclusive and culturally appropriate service delivery.
