About the Role Join a dynamic team supporting the operation of water and sewerage networks. You’ll work alongside control room operators, ensuring systems run smoothly, operators have the support they need, and customers and staff get timely information. Think of it as being part of a “water traffic control center,” helping keep critical infrastructure safe and efficient. Key Responsibilities Operator Support: Assist operators with monitoring systems and alarms, take calls, and backfill when needed. Permits & Access: Process third-party site access requests, ensure safety and legal compliance, and update records. Monitoring & Reporting: Collect and report data on network performance, water quality, and planned work using tools like SCADA, Power BI, and Ellipse. Customer & Stakeholder Support: Answer enquiries, escalate issues when required, and provide updates during emergencies or planned maintenance. Team Support & Training: Help onboard and train new support staff, and assist in team communications and meetings. Skills & Requirements High School Certificate (Certificate III in Water Industry Operations is a bonus) Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, reporting tools) Experience in customer service or water industry is desirable Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights Security clearance Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills and teamwork focus Responsible, proactive, and able to follow procedures APPLY NOW!
