This is a Adviser Victims Register role with Queensland Corrective Services based in Brisbane, QLD, AU Queensland Corrective Services Role Seniority - mid level More about the Adviser Victims Register role at Queensland Corrective Services In this role you will provide support to the Senior Adviser, Victims Register and, in consultation with the Senior Adviser Victims Register, ensure practices and procedures are established, implemented and maintained to facilitate the effective operation of the Victims Register. Requirements The most suitable applicant will demonstrate their applied knowledge, skills and experience against these essential role requirements of the Team leader leadership stream: Written communication skills, particularly the ability to prepare complex and sensitive reports, briefings, policy papers and submissions and the ability to utilise the suite of Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as information database systems Exposure to the Criminal Justice System or recent workplace experience in a similar field. Ability to interpret and apply legislation and procedures as they apply to the criminal justice system and Queensland Corrective Services. Ability to provide information and advice to management in relation to victim related issues particularly those related to operations of the Victims Register. Interpersonal skills to ensure effective liaison with internal and external stakeholders. Experience in the development, implementation and review of procedures through the analysis of trends and data Problem solving skills. Ability to prepare and facilitate training & information sessions. Experience in managing staff and human resource related matters. Applications to remain current for 12 months.
