The Role We’re looking for a motivated Procurement Officer who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. In this role, you’ll assist with tenders, manage RFQs, chase market quotes, and maintain vendor compliance, never hesitating to jump on the phone to get the information you need. You’ll work with known, reliable vendors, manage stakeholder expectations, and stay agile when last‑minute requests and changes arise. If you enjoy variety, problem‑solving, and keeping procurement running smoothly and efficiently, this is the role for you. Key Responsibilities Assist with tenders, RFQs and market price requests. Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers to ensure best value and performance. Maintain and support vendor compliance and onboarding. Manage high‑volume purchasing and contribute to tender estimations. Liaise with stakeholders, ensuring internal processed are followed. Resolve or escalate supplier delivery, quality, or technical issues. Maintain strong supplier relationships and utilise existing industry networks. Support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement. Assist with contract preparation, reviews and operational procurement needs. About You 2-3 years’ experience in a Procurement, Purchasing or Supply Chain role Strong understanding of RFQs, tenders, vendor compliance and procurement processes Experience in mechanical industries, including sourcing hand tools and consumables, with established industry contacts (preferred) Experience using Pronto (preferred) or similar ERP systems Solid financial understanding and commercial mindset Strong negotiation and communication skills Proactive, confident, and comfortable chasing quotes and engaging suppliers Able to manage high‑volume workloads and tight deadlines.
