This is a Commercial Manager role with DT Infrastructure based in Melbourne, VIC, AU DT Infrastructure Role Seniority - mid level, senior More about the Commercial Manager role at DT Infrastructure Job description: About the role DT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager, based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane to join our National Rail Division. This role is responsible for leading all commercial and contractual activities across a portfolio of rail projects, ensuring effective strategy, risk, claims, procurement and financial performance. Key responsibilities include: Provide hands‑on commercial support across a portfolio of projects, ensuring consistent application of commercial processes and timely issue resolution. Monitor and coordinate the deployment of commercial resources across the project portfolio to ensure adequate coverage and delivery performance. Drive commercial capability uplift across project teams and lead continuous improvement of portfolio‑wide commercial processes and systems. Manage the drafting, review and negotiation of contracts and JV/collaboration agreements to support efficient project mobilisation. Lead and standardise the commercial handover process across project portfolio, ensuring project teams receive complete and accurate contractual and financial information. Support bid management activities as required to maintain continuity between pre‑contracts and delivery teams. Provide “leadership by example” to the whole team, demonstrating personal behaviours that uphold DTI values. Experience and capabilities Proven commercial and financial management experience across a portfolio of projects, including rail or rail‑related infrastructure works. Strong ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships, including with rail operators, government agencies, and delivery partners, and support business growth. Experience improving and streamlining commercial processes across multiple projects.
