They build high-quality, custom aluminium trays and trailers across the transport, mining, civil, and agriculture sectors. They’re looking for an experienced Aluminium Welder who knows their way around structural work and takes pride in clean, consistent welds. What You’ll Be Doing MIG welding aluminium (structural components, frames, assemblies) Fabricating heavy-gauge aluminium and some structural steel Reading and working from engineering drawings Building both standard and custom trailer setups Working independently while still being part of a solid workshop team Keeping your work area safe, clean, and organised What We’re Looking For Trade qualified (Boilermaker / Fabricator / Welder) Strong experience MIG welding aluminium — structural work is key Able to read and interpret workshop/engineering drawings Good mechanical mindset — you can think through problems High attention to detail — you take pride in your work Full working rights in Australia Based in Melbourne Able to provide 2 references if required Nice to Have Trailer or heavy vehicle fabrication experience Experience working with jigs, fixtures, or complex weld structures Why Join TRS Resourcing?
