About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Digital Full Stack Engineer to design and deliver high-quality digital solutions that meet evolving business needs. You’ll work across the full development lifecycle, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to build scalable, secure, and cloud-native applications. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in agile environments and enjoys solving complex technical challenges. Key Accountabilities: Deliver development outcomes on time and to a high standard, ensuring solutions are fit-for-purpose and adaptable to future changes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess requirements, estimate effort, and design technical solutions Support testing activities and maintain clear documentation to enable efficient support and change management Follow change control and versioning procedures to ensure production stability Monitor development progress, proactively resolve issues, and escalate when necessary Stay current with system security protocols and ensure compliance with information security standards Contribute to post-implementation reviews and apply learnings to future work Champion customer experience and ensure solutions reflect user needs Our Technology Stack Frontend Web Development: AEM, React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Node.js API Development: MuleSoft (AWS-hosted), AWS Lambda Functions CI/CD Orchestration: Azure, AWS Source Control: Azure DevOps, Bitbucket About You You’re a seasoned full stack engineer with a passion for building secure, scalable digital solutions. You’re confident working across cloud-native environments, backend APIs, and modern frontend frameworks. You bring a strong sense of ownership and analytical skills, able to prioritise tasks autonomously and work collaboratively with a strong commitment to continuous learning. Articulating ideas to technical and non-technical audiences comes naturally thanks to your effective communication skills. Your Skills & Experience 8 years’ experience as a full stack engineer with strong backend and frontend capabilities Expertise in TypeScript/Node.js, AWS serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB), and API design & implementation Proficient in HTML5 and CSS3 to create responsive web interfaces JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) for building robust and scalable web apps. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation) Strong understanding of secure coding practices and OWASP Top 10 Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure SDKs and cloud-native application development Skilled in writing effective unit and integration tests Exposure to container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Familiarity with observability tools (Splunk, New Relic) and logging best practices Agile delivery experience (Scrum or Kanban); SAFe exposure highly regarded Highly Desirable Awareness of UX/UI principles, DDD/TDD experience, developing using Step Functions, SonarQube, Micro Front-End or Microservices architecture Application performance profiling tools (e.g. dotTrace), cloud security best practices AWS certification or working towards certification Belong at Cbus We value difference, and embrace people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, gender identities, abilities and thinking styles.
