About the Role We are seeking 4x Client Service Officers to join a fast-paced operational team of 14 supporting financial oversight functions. This role is centred around engaging with privately appointed financial representatives, ensuring they understand and meet their obligations when managing the affairs of individuals requiring support. You will be responsible for managing a large caseload, handling inbound enquiries, and reviewing financial decisions to ensure compliance with relevant guidelines. The role requires a balance of customer service, administrative capability, and sound judgement when dealing with sensitive and sometimes complex situations. Client Service Officers x 4 – $40.80/hr super Location: Parramatta or Newcastle (5 days onsite) Start Date: ASAP Duration: Until 30 June 2026 (strong potential extension) Key Responsibilities Manage and monitor a portfolio of client cases, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution Provide clear guidance to external stakeholders regarding financial management responsibilities and compliance obligations Review proposed financial decisions to ensure they align with legislative and policy requirements Handle a high volume of inbound calls and email enquiries in a professional and empathetic manner Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across internal systems and databases Identify and escalate complex or sensitive matters to senior team members when required Participate in rostered phone support, managing consistent daily call volumes Support administrative processes including reporting, documentation, and correspondence Liaise with internal teams to ensure consistent and efficient service delivery Contribute to quality assurance activities including call and case reviews Build rapport with a diverse client base, including vulnerable individuals and their representatives Assist with continuous improvement initiatives within the team About You Proven experience in a contact centre, customer service, or client support role within government, financial services, banking, or superannuation sectors Ability to manage high workloads and competing priorities in a structured environment Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive and complex conversations Demonstrated empathy and professionalism when working with vulnerable individuals Experience with case management or CRM systems is highly regarded High attention to detail with strong administrative and organisational skills Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to perform under pressure Relevant qualifications in finance, business, community services, or similar (or equivalent experience) Willingness to participate in rotating phone rosters and quality assurance processes Valid working rights in Australia are required.
