We are seeking an accomplished Tax Manager to join a leading financial services organisation with a sophisticated corporate structure and strong market presence. This is a standout opportunity for a tax professional with deep corporate and group tax experience to step into a senior role offering exposure to complex entities, international operations and high‑value transactions. The Role As a senior member of the Group Finance and Tax team, you will take ownership of the organisation’s corporate tax compliance, group tax reporting and advisory matters. You will work closely with senior finance leaders, business units and external advisors to deliver accurate tax outcomes, ensure regulatory compliance and drive strategic tax initiatives across the group. Key Responsibilities Lead and review group income tax returns, BAS, FBT and all statutory tax lodgements Oversee tax effect accounting, including preparation and review of monthly and year‑end tax provisions Provide high‑level advice on corporate tax matters, including restructures, M&A, funding arrangements and cross‑border transactions Partner with senior stakeholders to optimise tax strategies while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements Manage ATO audits, risk reviews and relationships with external advisors on complex technical matters Drive continuous improvement across tax processes, controls, systems and reporting frameworks Contribute to strategic projects, business initiatives and organisational decision‑making About You CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) with 6–10 years’ experience in tax, ideally from Big 4, mid‑tier or financial services Strong technical expertise in corporate tax, tax effect accounting and group consolidations Exposure to international tax, financial services or funds management is highly regarded Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and provide commercially grounded advice Proactive, strategic and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, evolving environment What’s on Offer A senior tax role within a high‑performing financial services organisation Exposure to complex tax matters across sophisticated group structures Clear progression pathways and genuine leadership opportunities
