Own the P&L with customer insights, products, planning and trade knowledge being core to successful delivery of financial outcomes in your State Based in NSW covering 370 stores, 11 Area Managers and 2800 team members, BWS State Manager is a pivotal leadership role that will lead a diverse team of leaders across the State, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance the BWS experience while maintaining a high-standard of safety, team engagement, and financial sustainability. Reporting to the General Manager of Store Operations, you will act as a strategic advocate for the brand, ensuring BWS continues to thrive in a complex, highly regulated retail environment. A day in your life as the BWS State Manager This is a high-influence role where you sit at the heart of our National Operations Leadership Team . You won't just manage a State; you will shape the future of BWS by: Strategic Stewardship: Contributing to the overarching BWS Strategy and cascading actionable plans that align state performance with national ambitions. You will use data-driven storytelling to build consensus and influence strategic activities across the brand. Commercial Mastery: Driving the retail scorecard by delivering sales, margin, and EBIT results while analyzing industry trends to identify new growth opportunities. Championing the "Voice": Elevating both Voice of Customer (VOC) and Voice of Team (VOT) by leveraging data insights to meet evolving customer expectations and drive inclusion. Leading Leaders: Inspiring a team of up to 11 direct reports through proactive capability building, workforce skill analysis, and robust succession planning for future leaders.
