About the Project Supporting SEQWater , Ventia deliver preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance along with electrical, mechanical and instrumental services across its water network. Servicing across 35 water treatment plants, 95 pump stations and 26 referable dams. About the Role We’re seeking a qualified Mechanical Tradesperson to deliver minor capital works across multiple sites. This hands-on role will be involved with installations, upgrades, and commissioning work with a focus on safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery. Candidates must be willing to undergo a medical and police check as part of the recruitment process Key duties include but are not limited to: Perform and deliver allocated work orders Deliver minor capital works including installations, upgrades, and asset replacements across diverse environments assets Perform administrative tasks and document work progressions within the computerised maintenance management system. (CMMS) Supervise onsite contractors and coordinate with other trades to ensure safe and efficient delivery Travel across designated sites, participating in inductions, toolbox talks, and pre-start meetings Adhere to WHS protocols, electrical standards, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle Identify and report risks, delays, or faults, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives About You Experience in construction, installation and commissioning Experience servicing technical mechanical assets actuators, gearboxes and pumps Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills Current C Class Driver Licence and willingness to travel Trade Mechanical certificate Construction White Card Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - HLTAID001 (1 year validity) Provide First Aid - HLTAID003 (3-year validity) Gas test Atmosphere- MSMWHS217 (3-year validity) Confined Space Entry - RIIWHS202E, MSMPER205,MSMPER200 (3-year validity) Working at Heights - RIIWHS204E (2-year validity) About Ventia Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
