The Business Insights Analyst is a key contributor to the CFO team’s capability to deliver high quality financial reports, forecasts and analysis which support budget holders to better manage operations and changes in the external environment . What would I be doing each day? Data Transformation and Dashboard development: Create & maintain insightful Power BI dashboards and be proficient in Power Query and Excel to help stakeholders understand and monitor key performance indicators. Financial Analysis: Deliver accurate and timely analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance. Participate in monthly business planning meetings with key stakeholders, providing insights for financial sustainability. Budgeting and Forecasting: Build and maintain robust financial models to support effective budgeting and forecasting using Adaptive Workday. Advanced Financial Modelling: Provide financial analysis and support for new business initiatives and projects. Process Improvement: Collaborate with teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. What would I need to be considered? Ability to prepare management reporting, budgets, forecasts and financial models. Ability to create, maintain, automate and publish Power BI Dashboards. Strong numerical and analytical skills and the ability to maintain a high degree of quality and accuracy. Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain relationships with a wide variety of internal, external, finance and non-finance stakeholders, particularly business unit budget holders. Provide evidence of considerable experience providing analysis of financial information such as business unit performance, annual or project budget review, interpretation of key performance indicator variances and trends. Relevant tertiary degree qualification. Possession of post graduate business qualification, Certified Public Accountant certification (CPA) or Charted Accountant (CA) qualification is preferred.
