The role has a strong organisational development focus and supports engagement, retention and long-term stability. Your work will contribute to keeping people supported and connected and will help retain the critical talent delivering our most complex programs. You will lead the design and delivery of a contemporary, enterprise-wide Retention Strategy for a complex, multiprogram environment enhancing our Employee Value Proposition (EVP), supporting culture and engagement outcomes. Responsibilities Lead the design of an enterprise wide Retention Strategy aligned with broader People Strategy priorities, including EVP, DEI, organisational capability, remuneration, and career pathways. Partner with senior stakeholders to understand employee experience, and embed initiatives into business workflows and program operating models. Deliver organisational people experience initiatives, including toolkits, frameworks, and leader resources. Support leaders through coaching, practical guidance and consistent application of workforce practices. Monitor implementation progress and establish feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement. Strengthen and evolve the EVP across all stages of the employee lifecycle, using benchmarking and workforce insights to guide improvements. About You Tertiary qualifications in Organisational Development, Psychology, HR, Adult Learning or a related field will be highly regarded. Minimum 5 years’ experience in OD or people experience roles with a strategic focus. Experience contributing to or delivering people strategy initiatives across complex or multiprogram environments. Strong capability in analysing workforce data, identifying themes and translating insights into actions. Demonstrated success designing and implementing frameworks or programs that influence culture, engagement or retention. Skilled in stakeholder engagement with the ability to work across functions and influence outcomes without authority. Experience developing EVP elements and working with employee experience platforms is an advantage. program environments. Comfortable working with a dispersed and hybrid workforce, and confident using digital collaboration tools and leading online interactions. Eligibility This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology.
