Accountant / Advisor - Public Practice Location: Brisbane CBD We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant / Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide accounting and taxation services for a diverse range of clients, while building strong professional relationships and developing your advisory skills. What you'll do: Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for businesses and individuals. Assist clients with taxation matters, including FBT, CGT, income tax, and GST. Prepare BAS and IAS, ensuring compliance with reporting obligations. Review client accounting records using Xero, QuickBooks, and MYOB. Engage regularly with clients and liaise with regulatory bodies. Support the preparation of invoices, budgets, and client proposals. What we're looking for: 1-3 years' experience in an advisory or public practice accounting firm. Strong foundation in accounting principles and compliance practices. Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and MYOB. Excellent communication skills and ability to build client rapport. Proactive, solutions-focused approach and eagerness to learn.
