We’re on the hunt for a driven and detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance Team in Brisbane. This is a full-time dynamic position, perfect for a numbers expert who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in the financial heartbeat of a growing ASX-listed brand. About the Role: As a Senior Financial Accountant, your purpose is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, internal controls, and tax compliance. Reporting to the Group Financial Accounting & Tax Manager, you won’t just be "crunching numbers"—you’ll be providing the insights that keep our business nimble and financially sound. We operate with a "Better Than Good" mindset, which requires your ability to manage complex reporting cycles while identifying opportunities for process improvement.Your key responsibilities will include: Precision Reporting: Preparing weekly and monthly financial reports to keep leadership informed and ahead of the curve. Mastering the Month-End: Supporting the month-end close process, including journals, accruals, and detailed balance sheet reconciliations. Strategic Support: Assisting with annual budgeting, reforecasts, statutory reporting, and variance analysis to drive business performance. Compliance & Tax: Managing GST, FBT, and income tax compliance, including returns and reconciliations to ensure we remain fully compliant. Financial Governance: Maintaining fixed asset registers and capital expenditure processes while monitoring operating expenses to ensure strong governance. Inventory Oversight: Ensuring the accurate financial treatment of inventory and stock movements—a critical part of our retail success. Essential Skills & Experience: A relevant accounting degree and CA/CPA.Strong financial accounting experience, ideally within a retail or multi-site environment. Outstanding analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.Proficiency in modern financial systems and a collaborative, "Team Player" working style. The ability to remain agile and adapt to new processes in a fast-moving industry.
