Port Melbourne location | 1 day WFH | Parking on site Full-time, Permanent role $75,000 - $85,000 super (depending on experience) The Opportunity We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Officer to join a growing business in a broad, hands-on role. This position offers a 50/50 split between Accounts Payable/Receivable duties as well as some month-end accounting responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both transactional processing and accounting support. This role will suit someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys structured processes and wants to contribute to a high-performing, down-to-earth finance team. Reporting into the Accountant, you will support the day-to-day finance function while assisting with month-end close, reconciliations and project reporting. You will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity across AP, AR, journals and the general ledger. Key Responsibilities End-to-end Accounts Payable processing including coding and approvals Accounts Receivable invoicing, payment matching and ageing management Prepare and post month-end journals (accruals, prepayments, depreciation) Assist with reconciliations, GL integrity and audit support Support Project Management reporting and financial data accuracy Maintain Fixed Asset Register and process depreciation Provide ad-hoc reporting and support process improvements About You Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Finance Officer role Strong understanding of AP, AR and month-end processes Confident preparing journals and reconciliations High attention to detail and strong data integrity focus Intermediate Excel skills (lookups, pivots) ERP system experience Reliable, accountable and comfortable working in an office-based environment What’s on Offer Permanent, stable opportunity in a growing business Broad role with exposure to both transactional and accounting duties Supportive leadership from Accountant & CFO High-performing, collaborative team culture who work hard & enjoy having fun!
