As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our cloud platforms are secure, stable and future-ready, supporting head offices, regional offices and more than 60 retirement communities across Australia. This role sits at the centre of that transformation, partnering across business and technology teams to implement innovative cloud solutions, site modernised infrastructure technologies and shape the future direction of our infrastructure platform. The role Reporting to the Head of Program Delivery & Cyber Security, you’ll oversee day-to-day cloud platform operations, infrastructure and service provider management while contributing to roadmap development and project-based solution delivery. You’ll help ensure our infrastructure remains reliable, scalable and secure, while supporting continuous improvement and adoption of modern cloud capabilities. What you’ll be doing Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure across Azure-based environments Manage and optimise site infrastructure across head offices and villages Manage and continually optimise service costs (e.g. licensing, carrier, managed services) and define standards and guidelines. Partner with vendors and internal teams to deliver reliable platform services Support roadmap execution and implementation of new cloud solutions Ensure platform security, compliance and resilience standards are met Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code deployment Support endpoint protection, backup and incident management processes Act as a Cloud & Infrastructure SME providing support for Levande’s project delivery What you’ll bring 5 years’ experience in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering roles Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Office 365 environments Understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, networking services Experience with outsourced managed service providers and service management environments. Familiarity with cloud security, compliance and monitoring tools Strong communication and organisational capability Experience with Azure AD, Sentinel, Defender, CI/CD is highly regarded.
