JOINER We are a respected manufacturer of made to measure quality timber windows and doors. Our business is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Joiner for our joinery workshop. We can offer the right person: job security immediate start a friendly environment with good working conditions The right person would be working with a dedicated team in our joinery and will be required to have the ability to work within the team environment to help meet deadlines. You must also be reliable. Our factory operates Monday to Friday. You will be employed on a full-time basis of 38 hours per week. Duties : Will mainly be, but not limited to, the manufacture of made to measure timber windows and doors within a team. Other duties as directed by the production manager. Skills and experience: must possess trade qualification, or have at least 4 years experience, in Joinery/Cabinetmaking/Carpentry experience in use of general woodworking machinery is an advantage experience is use of manual and electric hand tools commonly found in wood shops able to read plans is an advantage experience in solid wood construction white card appreciated awareness of health and safety best practices CNC operation experience preferred but not necessary Personal attributes: attention to detail common sense, general literacy, and numeracy skills be prompt, reliable, efficient and ability to effectively work unsupervised have a professional attitude and a sound work ethic and be willing to work overtime willingness to follow instructions a ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to get the job done As our factory is in an area that has limited public transport. Own transport would be beneficial but not necessary. You will be required to provide your own tools. Hourly rate will be negotiated depending on experience.
