Footsteps Dance Company | $50,000 per year | Monday–Friday (8am–4pm) Footsteps Dance Company is one of Australia’s most established school dance providers, delivering high-quality, curriculum-aligned dance programs to primary schools across the country. We are currently seeking a Full Time Dance Instructor to join our team, delivering our weekly school programs and supporting the coordination of our end-of-term concerts and discos. ABOUT THE ROLE This is a full-time position based in Perth, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm . Your role will include: ✅ Teaching dance classes in primary schools (Foundation to Year 6) ✅ Managing a weekly school schedule and maintaining strong school relationships ✅ Supporting end-of-term concerts and school discos (scheduled evening work) - Time off in Leui provided for the additional night work. ✅ Assisting with student choreography and performance preparation ✅ Ensuring professional presentation, punctuality, and high teaching standards ✅ Working closely with the Footsteps management team to ensure program success WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR We are seeking someone who is: - Confident and engaging with children - Reliable, organised and professional - Passionate about dance and performance - Comfortable teaching a variety of styles (hip hop, jazz, musical theatre, creative movement etc.) - Able to work independently and represent the Footsteps brand at schools - Willing to commit to evening concerts/discos at the end of each term ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Dance teaching experience (school-based experience preferred but not essential) Current Working With Children Check (WA) Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle Ability to travel between school locations Availability for end-of-term concert/disco nights WHAT WE OFFER Full-time stable employment $50,000 per year salary Exciting performance opportunities through concerts and discos Ongoing training, lesson plans and program support Fun, energetic and supportive team environment Work that genuinely makes a difference in children’s confidence and wellbeing START DATE Term 2 Start - With Training Casually at the end of Term 1.
