About the Role We’re looking for a Marketing and Communications Assistant to join our team for a 12-month maximum-term role during an exciting period of change and growth. Job Description In this role, you will: Support day-to-day marketing, communications and onsite activities. Assist with digital marketing, including social media scheduling, website updates and e-newsletters. Research, draft and schedule content for campaigns, social media and web channels. Create basic graphic assets and short-form videos in line with brand guidelines. Help coordinate and deliver onsite events, capturing content for promotion. Contribute to internal and external communications across all channels. Build positive relationships with colleagues and suppliers while representing the organisation professionally. Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy, WHS and child-safe requirements. Participate in team activities, seek feedback, and support continuous learning. To be successful in this role, you will have: Essential A basic understanding of marketing and communications, including social media and digital content. Strong written communication skills and attention to detail. Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Confidence using digital tools (or the ability to learn quickly). A collaborative, professional approach and willingness to learn. Desirable A qualification (or current study) in marketing, communications or a related field. Experience with WordPress, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. Experience or interest in social media, content creation or photography/videography. Previous admin, marketing or customer-facing experience. An interest in the not-for-profit or community services sector.
