Spatial Services' integrated framework connects the people of NSW to a comprehensive package of land and property services including property information, surveying and mapping. Spatial Services' provides land information services to individuals, businesses, government agencies and non-profit organisations throughout NSW, Australia and internationally. About the role As a Spatial Technician you will undertake a range of activities related to the sourcing, quality assurance, maintenance and delivery of Spatial Services' Foundation Spatial Data. This includes cadastral, topographic, addressing, surveying, elevation and imagery information. The role sits within Spatial Operations and may specialise in one of the following programs: Cadastral Spatial Programs: Maintenance and upgrade of the NSW Spatial Cadastre, maintenance of administrative areas and/or support for property development pipeline products and services Administrative Spatial Programs: Maintenance and upgrade of NSW address data, addressing support services, maintenance and upgrade of topographic data and/or maintenance of administrative areas Environmental Spatial Programs: Imagery and elevation capture & processing, imagery & elevation product updates including quality assurance and delivery channels and/or maintenance and upgrade of topographic data (water) To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Background knowledge and capabilities in one or more of the Spatial Operations program specialisations Ability to work as part of a team, share information and manage workload effectively Strong communication skills Understanding of common GIS/Spatial software systems and related technical skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances Ability to work independently at times with minimal supervision Why Join Us?
