The Stirling Hotel is looking for an experienced Duty Manager to help lead our busy, high-performing venue in the heart of the Adelaide Hills. About the Role As Duty Manager at the Stirling Hotel, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the venue, working across bar, restaurant, gaming and floor to ensure every guest has an outstanding experience. Reporting to the Venue Manager, you’ll lead by example on every shift, support your team, and uphold our service, compliance and presentation standards. You’ll work across a rotating 7-day roster, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays. What You’ll Be Doing Overseeing daily operations across all front-of-house areas Leading, supporting and motivating staff on shift Delivering exceptional customer service and resolving issues calmly and professionally Managing gaming and RP responsibilities in line with compliance requirements Writing clear daily reports and handovers for the leadership team Maintaining high standards of venue presentation, safety and guest experience Proactively developing your own skills and seeking career growth within the group What We’re Looking For Proven experience in a leadership role within hotels/pubs or similar venues Strong customer service and communication skills with positive energy Confident conflict resolution and decision-making under pressure Previously held positions of responsibility; restaurant experience ideal Well organised with strong attention to detail and presentation standards RSA certified and RP badged – essential Gaming Manager badge preferred; RSG and H&L experience an advantage Availability to work across a 7-day roster including days, nights, weekends and public holidays Engaging, charismatic and team-focused, with a genuine desire to learn and grow Why Work With Us?
