The position is approximately 30 hours per week from Tuesday to Saturday covering a variety of shifts. Start times range from 7:30am for the opening shift to 11:30am for the closing shift. Each shift lasting approximately six hours, depending on the daily workload. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, possess excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, work well in a fast-paced team environment and display a willingness to learn. The position involves customer service, barista duties, packing of bakery products and packing of wholesale orders. Applicants must be comfortable with physical work, including bending, lifting, and being on your feet for your shift. Previous kitchen/café and barista experience an advantage but not necessary.
