Applicants commencing prior to the pay increase will be appointed within the pay range of $95,187 - $108,734) Canberra - ACT The Role This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of project scope and scheduling by managing and updating the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to accurately reflect project deliverables and comply with CASG and NSSG governance requirements. It involves clearly communicating WBS expectations to Control Account Managers and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and consistency across all project areas. The position oversees WBS change management processes, documenting and controlling any adjustments to project scope. A core part of the role includes maintaining alignment between the projects’ WBS and the NSSG Functional WBS, while also supporting integration with wider project team functions. Additionally, the role contributes to the development and ongoing refinement of the Project Control Plan and associated project control processes. It also provides flexible support to other project controls functions as required, ensuring cohesive, well governed, and accurately tracked project performance. This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Collective Agreement (DECA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability.
