About the job Due to internal movement, we have an exciting fixed‑term opportunity for a Communications Adviser to join our Communications team. This contract runs until 31 December 2026. As the voice of SA Water, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we connect with our people, customers, and communities across South Australia. Your responsibilities for this opportunity Fostering trust with our people, customers and community by providing expert advice and service that ensure we effectively communicate and engage audiences with our business strategy and its delivery across South Australia, every day. You will: Design and implement strategic communication plans and content to support business objectives. Create and deliver engaging materials including copy, images, video, graphics, artwork, events, presentations, and speeches. Provide advice on the most effective use of owned, earned, and paid channels. Optimise content for internal and external audiences across multiple platforms. Foster and facilitate the use of digital technologies that make communication and engagement efficient and effective, both within the business and with customers and the community. Cultivate effective relationships and networks to proactively identify communication and engagement opportunities. Your success in this role will come from: Tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related discipline. Proven experience as a communications practitioner, balancing proactive and reactive work. Strong relationship building skills and the confidence to advise stakeholders and influence outcomes.
