In this position, you’ll provide high level administration, contract management and project coordination with minimal supervision, ensuring strong alignment to project objectives and consistent application of Council’s project management framework. You will lead task planning, guide project officers, and maintain robust project records while delivering key operational functions such as reporting, scheduling, procurement and stakeholder coordination. This role also provides direct administrative support to the General Manager Capital Delivery, contributing to policy, governance and operational decision making. About You Our ideal candidate will have: Certificate IV in Project Management, Business or similar competency or relevant experience Substantial relevant experience within a local government or similar environment, specialising in business administration, project management, procurement and contract management throughout the project and contract lifecycle (essential). Demonstrable extensive experience performing “Key Accountabilities” autonomously within a team environment. Substantial interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, negotiation and facilitation skills including the ability to influence stakeholders, both internal and external. Comprehensive customer service skills with experience in stakeholder management and managing a client portfolio, including liaison with clients to understand their business needs. Experience guiding the development of junior team members and/or trainees. Advanced MS Office Skills and demonstrable experience with enterprise document management systems and similar cloud-based applications (such as Technology One, Oracle Aconex, CAMMS).
