Purpose As the Hotel Accountant, you will be an essential member of the Accor Shared Services team, playing a key role in review, reconciliation, reporting and support for a cluster of properties within the Accor Apartments & Realty portfolio. This position is ideal for a competent Accountant or Assistant Accountant that is seeking to work in an exciting and dynamic environment whilst advancing their career Primary Responsibilities End of month preparation, review & reporting Monthly/Annual - Financial report collation & distribution Balance sheet preparation & maintenances Monthly FBT data review, distribution, communication and full year report preparation Monthly tax preparation and payments Bank reconciliations Assist in monthly forecasting preparation Assist with internal audit control reviews AR credit meeting attendance/ aged debt maintenance Assist in annual budgeting process Support Area Finance & Property teams in daily/annual requirements when required Skills and Experience A minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role Tertiary qualifications in Accounting and/or Finance or Commerce CA or CPA qualifications is a plus Proven track record and strong understanding of management accounting Strong attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving skills Excellent written and oral communication skills across a wide-range of stakeholders Ability to work under pressure within tight time frames A can do attitude
